I lead AI at DeepAlert, where my team builds computer vision and agentic AI systems for CCTV monitoring and video analytics — from real-time false-alarm filtering to natural-language analytics for vision applications. Previously a research scientist working across astrophysics, signal processing, and applied ML at Caltech, AIMS, and the Square Kilometre Array.
Research Interests
My research interests are broad in nature, mainly focussing on the application of machine learning to different areas of science and technology. I do more application-level research than theoretical.
I have a deep interest in how artificial intelligence can benefit the betterment of the community through functional and ethical applications.
My current areas of focus are Computer Vision, Knowledge Graphs, and Natural language Processing. I also love engaging with students and other researchers to work on novel science problems.
